THE BRIEF

As part of a larger campaign, we were tasked with creating a stand for the City of Cape Town at the World Travel Market expo. The space needed to showcase the heart of leisure, travel and tourism in the city while allowing 20 SMMEs to exhibit.

INSIGHT

From shark cage diving to paragliding, the City offers a wealth of amazing experiences – all set against a unique backdrop.

SOLUTION

We wanted to recreate some of the experiences unique to Cape Town and make it easy for stand visitors to make a booking with any of the featured SMMEs.

IMPLEMENTATION

Using a mix of virtual reality and more traditional builds, we allowed delegates to experience abseiling down Table Mountain, go shark cage diving and more. They were then able to book an experience directly from the stand.

RESULTS

The activation won the most innovative stand award for the event.
